- Choose the wrapping paper that you feel best suits the gift. Begin to measure out your wrapping paper ,run it across the entirety of the gift to see if you have enough paper. Once that is done, give yourself about an inch to an inch and a half of more paper added on.
- Take the edges of the paper and bring them above the gift, and together fold the extra inches down under in order to give you smoother edges. Once the sides are folded down, add tape to hold in place.
- With the edges, take one side at a time much like you would with folding the wings into a paper airplane, you want to do the same for the sides. The tip of the folded triangle should then be folded down, and then taped to the box. Repeat this step with the other edge.
